Quick start

From zero to your first on-chain swap takes about 3 minutes.

What you need

  • A compatible EVM wallet (Robinhood Wallet, MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.)
  • ETH in the wallet (for Gas) plus whitelisted tokens (e.g. USDG)
  • A browser environment that can reach the robinhoodchain network
Orbit Forge is non-custodial: the platform cannot move funds it isn't authorized to touch. Funds stay in your wallet until a fill.

Add / switch to Robinhood Chain

Open Settings → Network and click "Add network". These are Robinhood Chain's own parameters:

The chain can also be added manually from the wallet. When the App detects a wrong chain it shows a "Switch network" prompt and disables swapping to prevent fills on the wrong network.

Connect your wallet

  1. Click "Connect wallet" in the top right
  2. Choose your wallet and confirm the connection in it
  3. The top bar shows your address; a green network badge means you're ready

Create a Session

On the swap page, click "Create execution authorization (Session)":

  • Tick the allowed tokens (default: the current pair)
  • Set a max amount (about 1.2× your plan; never unlimited)
  • Validity: 24 hours / 7 days / 14 days (default 7 days; no permanent option)
  • Slippage cap defaults to 0.5%; daily orders default to 20
  • Tick all risk acknowledgments, then sign in your wallet

A Session is the limit you give the engine — not handing your wallet to the platform. See Session authorization.

Your first swap

  1. Choose the token you pay and the token you get, enter an amount
  2. Check the fee summary (min output / price impact / 0.05% protocol fee / Gas)
  3. Click "Simulate fill" and confirm the simulated result
  4. Click "Execute swap", sign in your wallet, and wait for on-chain confirmation
  5. On success a receipt pops up: hash, actual slippage, fee breakdown

Receipts and explorers

Every swap has a transaction hash. Copy the hash into a public explorer to verify on-chain state; the App's "Activity" page also lists your full history. The on-chain result is final.

Supported wallets and networks

Compatible EVM wallets

Any EVM wallet that supports wallet_addEthereumChain / wallet_switchEthereumChain. We don't claim only an official wallet works.

Chain ID and RPC

Chain ID 0x1237 (4663), the public RPC and the block explorer are listed above. Gas on this chain is always ETH.

Wrong chain?

The network badge in the top bar turns red and prompts "Switch network". The swap button stays disabled until you return to Robinhood Chain.

Public explorer

robinhoodchain.blockscout.com. The "↗" in receipts and the Activity page link to the corresponding transaction page once the contracts are deployed.

Supported assets

Stablecoins and ETH

ETH (native, also Gas), WETH, USDG (stablecoin, Session accounting unit).

Stock tokens and regional restrictions

Stock tokens are economic exposure, not equivalent to the full shareholder rights of listed stock; issuer terms prevail. Unavailable in some jurisdictions — grayed out in the list where unavailable.

How the whitelist updates

The protocol multisig first updates the whitelist in the contracts, then the frontend list ships a new version. The frontend list may only be a subset of the contract list, never a superset.

Why some tokens can't be selected

Possible reasons: trading paused, regional restriction, or the token is not in the Session's allowed list.
